Ron English - Propaganda Missions
many of you might know Ron English from his artwork in the independent documentary/movie - 'Super-Size Me' and very few of you might know him from his McDonald's inspired vinyl figures (all of which are his creations besides the all black figure). i own most of the McSupersize-Me figures he releases except for a few color-ways which are extremely hard to find.
anyways, Ron English has recently set out to spread some of his propaganda inspired artwork out and about Los Angeles. most of what Mr. English used looks to be wheat-paste which is a bit easier to apply when doing rogue and extremely illegal posting. from being a street team member myself and having to run sticker bombinb missions - i barely know the feeling of what it must have felt like to post up on a 100 ft. high billboard. what i do is nothing compared to what graffers and rogue mission artists do but let me tell you - it takes balls to do what they do.
haha! he even stepped it up and had a McSupersize-Me mascot made in which he paraded around Hollywood Blvd. in! fucking genius!
