check out a picture that i scored of Mister Cartoon's recent works. i had a chance to get tattooed from Mister Cartoon and got as far as an initial consultation planned out and everything, granted, this was way back when i could have afforded the $3,000 (minimum) tattoo and $100 deposit for the consultation with him and i damn well would have spent it too. when corresponding back and forth with Cartoon he made a good point, he said something like "...the money isn't a thing considering you will have MY art on your arm forever and that money will be gone in a matter of years...". i've always wanted a Cartoon tattoo, even before he blew up because he only works with black and grey and all of my current tattoos are in this fashion. it's true and if the money will ever flow for me again like it did last year, i will definitely get Cartoon to work on me. it would be a shame if he ever retired from tattooing like Mike Giant did but at least i have ALL of his tattoo flash/art books to work with since that would be the closest thing to getting a tattoo from him.
