LSD INVENTOR - ALBERT HOFFMAN DEAD
the 1st time i dropped acid was on a trip to Mammoth Mountain for a snowboarding trip when i was a Freshman in highschool. me and 2 buddies scored 10 hits of acid that we were going to take while on the trip. we each took 1 for the long ride up there and all i remember is trying so hard not to act crazy in front of my buddies dad - who was driving us there. also, let's say snowboarding on acid is fun but i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. i also remember watching the Jackson 5's version of the Wizard of Oz which was called 'The Wiz', i also wouldn't recommend dropping acid and watching that, actually, i wouldn't recommend watching the movie stone sober.
i also dropped acid, not once but twice at school - don't ask me why but again, this isn't something i'd ever recommend, even to my worst enemy. dropped acid in a movie theater watching the Matrix which wasn't so bad. that just about describes most of my acid adventures.
anyways, the German inventor of LSD died at age 102. he invented the drug in 1938 and discovered its effects on accident 5 years later! i know that he accidentally ingested it and realized its effects while riding his bicycle home. shit, imagine that! i bet that was one whole BAD trip.
the painting was a portrait made by Alex Grey who's name is also synonymous for acid.
oh yeah, don't do drugs.
