these shoes are pretty ugly but much respect is due to the artist who the shoes are inspired by. many of you might know or are familiar with 'the screaming hand' graphic. the graphic was created by a hero of mine named 'Jim Phillips' in 1987 and graced many Santa Cruz skateboards. 4 different sets of laces will be released with these shoes which have not yet received a release date.
pictured below is a vinyl figure i have had on my wish-list for sometime now. this figure released last year in its original blue color as well as a red color. i don't remember exactly but i believe these were limited to 500. i had a chance to get the red version but since the graphic was never red - i decided not to get it unless i could find the original blue.
