sometime around last month - many of you will remember the post re: rip offs and bites. a lot of you have told me that - so far it was your favorite posting. well, i have more from you from the REBEL8 camp. some of these were taken directly at Magic this year! imagine that you knowingly ripped off one of the most respected clothing labels that will be attending Magic and having to show your face at your booth. the first ripped off shirt managed to bite 2 REBEL8 shirts and combined them into one! to this day, i still remain in contact w/ Joshy whenever i find a rip-off. pretty sad...
...and now a message from Joshy D.
Due to the increasing infringements we have encountered throughout the world, we have begun enforcing a zero-tolerance policy. I really wish people would be original and look at better companies like REBEL8 solely as inspiration and not as a database of usable art. There are quite a few more cases of biting I’d love to show, but many are still in the courts and will have to wait. Until then, thanks for supporting us. Except no imitations.
