thanks to a friend in a high place - i just scored a pair of tickets to a Dropkick Murphys show at The Pacific Amphitheatre on Sunday, July 20th. they are playing with The Vandals, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and my friend's - girlfriend's band - Civet so potentially the free tickets will turn into backstage passes. i am not a huge fan of any of the acts but i do like them. i won't be able to bring my digital camera in but i will have my cell phone camera on me.
