NEW PAUL WALL/EXPENSIVE TASTE ALBUM & TOUR BUS

Paul Wall will be releasing a new album under the name 'The Fast Life' which will drop this year in September. i've heard an unreleased track and it is pretty good. Travis and Skinhead Rob will be doing a lot on this album and i guess it won't really be much different from Expensive Taste but i guess the whole Expensive Taste deal fell through and it seems that everything Skind Head touches turns into shit - no disrespect - i admire him and am a fan - but what happened to Warfare and his own solo album?

SL!CK x UPPER PLAYGROUND BOOK & NEW PIECE

the dopest news of the day comes by way of SL!CK and Upper Playground who are and have been working on a book due later this year. Upper Playground has released numerous awesome books by some of the most respected graffiti artists and artists in general. i have numerous Upper Playground books that have been released and they never fail to impress me. no word on a release date but you will definitely hear more information from me as it is passed along.

also, check the newest piece SL!CK threw up just outside of Upper Playground SF and a picture of a lady throwing up next to a SL!CK sticker.

WU TANG x DIAMOND SUPPLY CO.

ok, so for the past 10 years there have been too many bad/shitty Wu-Tang/Street Wear tees to count and it has been awhile since i've seen a Wu-Tang inspired shirt. this will be one of the few that are actually pretty dope. this is coming by way of Diamond Supply Co. and features the face of Raekwon. the tee was made exclusively for this year's Rock the Bells Tour and is a revisit to Wu-Tang and Raekwon's hit ablum 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. no clue on a release date but like most news of Diamond Supply Co. shirts - this one should release in extremely limited number later this year.

VANS x USUGROW

most of you readers will know that i have been commenting and impressed with whoever is in charge of collaborations from Vans. Usugrow is hands-down one of my favorite artists and it will be cool to see him with his own Vans. you're going to have to wait a good amount of time because they don't drop until '09.

iPHONE 3G

know me - you know i love BlackBerry's - you know i own at least 2 or 3 of each model - and you know i hate the iPhone although i do like Apple products - i have to 14-inch black MacBooks and numerous iPods. in fact, i used to sell iPhones and i know how crappy they are. i even bought my girfriend so i know first hand how crappy of a phone they are. i figure that most of my readers are iPhone or Sidekick whores - and this blog is for you guys and not me - so this information pertains to you guys...

Price? 8GB 199$US and 16GB $299 USD.

a trustworthy and high source told me that the iPhone 3G is set to release July 11th and will be much, much cheaper this time around.

also, T-Mobile will be releasing a new SidekickLX collaboration with Tony Hawk. my personal favorite way back when i had T-Mobile was the Mister Cartoon version but this on will do well. these will hit the shelves sometime in the middle of next month with an aggressive ad campaign that has recently started. the phone will feature a grip-tape type of texture and will somehow have a skateboard type of look and stereo bluetooth conectivity, as well as Tony Hawk graphics.





since i am not a huge fan of this particular collaboration - i don't have specifics.

NEW BLACKBERRY THUNDER

here are official pictures of the upcoming BlackBerry 'Thunder' that is scheduled to release on Verizon later on in the year. most of you that are in love with the iPhone and were most likely disappointed by it will be impressed with the BlackBerry. this product will only be released on Verizon. don't confuse this with the BlackBerry 'Bold' i have been post happy posting about! looks cool but i think the 'Bold' is going to be a much better product.
